Welcome to StatusLink ("StatusLink", the "App", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StatusLink mobile application and its related features and digital services (collectively, the "Services").
The Services are operated by Quiz Legend (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of South Africa.
1. OPERATING ENTITY AND ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Operating Entity: StatusLink is owned and operated by Quiz Legend (Pty) Ltd, Republic of South Africa.
1.2 Age Requirement: You must meet the minimum age requirements applicable to StatusLink in your country or jurisdiction. Under 18 requires parental consent.
1.3 Legal Capacity: You represent that you have legal capacity and authority to agree to these Terms.
2. ACCOUNT-FREE ARCHITECTURE AND DEVICE IDENTIFIERS
StatusLink operates without requiring user accounts or profile creation. Content and settings are stored locally on your device. Third-party services may use device identifiers for security, analytics, and billing.
3. USER CONTENT
You retain ownership of all photographs, captions, and materials created using StatusLink. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have rights to distribute your content.
4. PROHIBITED USE
You agree not to violate laws, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, engage in fraud/harassment, or reverse engineer the App.
5. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
StatusLink is an independent utility and is not affiliated, endorsed, or connected with Meta Platforms, Inc., WhatsApp LLC, ByteDance Ltd., X Corp., or Google LLC.
6. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PREMIUM FEATURES
Optional paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled via Google Play subscription settings prior to the renewal date.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All software, interface designs, algorithms, logos, and trademarks are owned by Quiz Legend (Pty) Ltd.
8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without guarantee of uninterrupted operational availability.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Liability is limited to the greater of the amount paid in the preceding 12 months or US$50.
10. GOVERNING LAW AND CONTACT
Governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
